J.R. Tucker High School

We supported construction of the new 265,101-square-foot J.R. Tucker High School campus and athletic facilities through coordinated concrete execution on an accelerated schedule alongside an active school environment.

Project Details

Located in Henrico County, the new J.R. Tucker High School was developed for Henrico County Public Schools as part of a transformative campus replacement initiative. The design-bid-build project included a new 265,101-square-foot high school, 14,798 square feet of athletic support facilities, associated sitework, and demolition of the original 1962 school building.

Construction was carefully phased to allow the existing school to remain fully operational during the two-year build. We contributed to the project through disciplined concrete execution that supported the accelerated schedule required for occupancy ahead of the 2021–22 school year. Following completion of the new campus, the existing facility was demolished to make way for new athletic fields and outdoor amenities.
