Named in honor of Medal of Honor recipients Colonel Van Barfoot and Colonel Carl Sitter, the Sitter & Barefoot Veterans Care Center establishes a modern standard for long-term veteran care in Virginia. The multi-wing residential facility was designed to create a comfortable, supportive environment that balances clinical care with community connection and quality of life.
The project includes nursing care, memory care, dining, social, and support spaces designed to serve veterans with dignity and compassion. Through coordinated execution and durable construction practices, we helped deliver a reliable, long-term care environment tailored to the needs of residents, caregivers, and the surrounding veteran community.
